The Scotland Gnostic Society is a not-for-profit gnostic esoteric school that runs weekly Gnosis and meditation classes in Glasgow and Edinburgh for anyone interested in self-knowledge.
Our name is the Scotland Gnostic Society, also known as Scotland Gnosis. We are a not-for-profit esoteric school teaching universal Gnosticism as presented by Samael Aun Weor, drawing on both Eastern and Western spiritual traditions. Our centres are organised locally: Scott organises the Glasgow Gnostic Centre and Chris organises the Edinburgh Gnostic Centre.
Weekly Gnosis classes consisting of a talk and a guided meditation practice, introductory Gnosis courses, an ongoing weekly lecture series, and meditation instruction for beginners through to experienced students. The topics we explore include meditation, esoteric psychology, kabbalah, alchemy, dream yoga and the world's great spiritual traditions.
We are not a religion or a church: students of any faith or none are welcome, and Gnosis respects all spiritual traditions. We are not a commercial training provider; classes run on a suggested contribution. We have no premises of our own: classes meet at hired community venues in Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are not a counselling or crisis service.

There is a suggested contribution of £5 a week towards the running of the centres. The inability to pay never prevents anyone from attending, and introductory talks and course opening nights welcome donations. More detail is on the classes FAQ.
