What happens at a session?

Each session runs from 7:00 to 9:00pm in Leith: a lecture on one of the esoteric topics — from astral travel and dream yoga to tarot, kabbalah and the knowledge of oneself — followed by a guided meditation practice. Techniques are introduced in a gradual, tension-free way: deep relaxation first, then concentration, and from there meditation itself. Regular weekly attendance gets the best results, but you are welcome to come to any session.

Meditation the gnostic way

Our approach comes from the gnostic tradition, which treats meditation as a practical science of self-knowledge rather than simple stress relief. The aim is to know yourself directly — to still the mind and experience what Gnosis calls the awakening of consciousness, drawing on the wisdom of both East and West. You do not need to adopt any belief to benefit from the practices.
